Care begins with understanding.

A sense of being met. Of being listened to without urgency or assumption.

From this place — where experience is respected and the body is given time — change begins to unfold. Not through force or fixing, but through understanding. Like a steady rhythm returning, something settles and your body is able to respond.

If this resonates, you’re in the right place.

who i am

I’m Dr. Hannah-Beth Ness, a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Registered Acupuncturist.

My education also includes training in Western herbalism, holistic nutrition, Ayurveda and movement-based therapies. This background allows me to approach care in a comprehensive and practical way — one that considers the whole person rather than isolated concerns, and supports feeling better in ways that are steady and sustainable.

I was born and raised in Medicine Hat, it’s meaningful to return home to practice within the community that shaped me. As an athlete growing up, I was introduced to acupuncture through injury recovery. Years later, after completing studies in herbal medicine, nutrition and yoga, a mentor encouraged me to explore Chinese Medicine. What followed was a natural integration of everything I had been studying.

Today, I work with a wide range of health concerns, with a particular focus on skin health and aging gracefully, supported from the inside out rather than addressed at the surface. My cosmetic acupuncture and 5D Sculptural Facial Experience treatments focus on stimulating natural collagen production and smoothing wrinkles to promote a more youthful appearance.

My practice is grounded in careful listening and respect for the body’s natural rhythms. I work with the understanding that health is rarely about a single symptom — it’s shaped by digestion, stress, rest, emotional load, injury and the pace of daily life. Care is individualized and unhurried, guided by what your body needs rather than a predetermined plan.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: when the body feels supported and understood, it has the capacity to regulate, recover and maintain balance naturally.

This is medicine rooted in attention, patience, and respect for the body’s intelligence. I look forward to supporting you and your health goals.

Foundations of My Work

  1. Whole-System Care

Your body is treated as an interconnected whole. Each session considers digestion, stress, sleep, emotional health and physical tension — not isolated symptoms.

2. Attentive, Skilled Hands

This work is hands-on, intentional and guided by careful listening. From acupuncture to facial and body work, every technique is applied with precision and presence.

3. Steady, Unrushed Pace

Care unfolds at the body’s pace. Sessions allow time to settle, respond and integrate. Encouraging changes that feel natural and sustainable rather than forced.

When your body is supported, your wellbeing flows.
